James Hickman has been on the road in the UK and beyond with top violinist Dan Cassidy whilst Chris Quinn has made a name for himself working with the best of Europe’s Jazz and folk musicians. The Hickman & Quinn project is now picking up from where it left off almost a decade ago when they were touring with the likes of Jools Holland and Katie Melua, playing Cambridge Folk Festival and building a following in across the UK, in the USA and Europe. Expect to be taken on an original journey inspired by the acoustic music of Britain and America.

Terry Walden from Ely Folk Festival, said: “This duo is of the highest quality. They are both virtuoso guitarists, easily going from Bluegrass picking to Blues and then into complicated jazz riffs and rhythms and back to gentle folk strumming for delicate ballads. They have equally good voices and harmonising is as natural as breathing. A great performance.”
